Lucia Kaiser worked closely with Tony Award winning Producers of playright, Neil LaBute's New York show, Fat Pig, acclaimed as one of the top new plays working to open on Broadway at the newly remodeled Belasco Theatre. Talent included A-list star power of comedian, Dane Cook along with Broadway veterans Emmy-award winner, Josh Hamilton, one of the “most talented actresses in Hollywood” (NYT), Julia Stiles, and rising new star, Heather Jane Rolff.
Kaiser began work with Fiore Films, producers of the infamous Gotti film In the Shadow of My Father, starring John Travolta, Al Pacino, Ben Foster, Kelly Preston, Chazz Palminteri, and (yet to be confirmed) Lindsay Lohan. Now backed by billionaire, Ted Field, filming is scheduled to begin at an undisclosed location in New York City; directed by Barry Levinson, with screenplay by Leo Rossi and James Toback. This is one of the most controversial films scheduled for release.
A two-time Emmy award-winning Producer, Lucia Kaiser has spent most of her life working as a top insider in the entertainment industry. She has developed a contact base second to none. Her vision in helping develop new entertainment projects is truly exceptional. A woman of far reaching influence with a rich philanthropic background, in 2009 she was honored in New York as a recipient of the "Pioneer of the Arts" Award presented by famed actor, Geoffrey Holder, in recognition of her enormous contributions to the entertainment world. That position catapulted her into the the heart of the entertainment industry in her role as President of the Studio Film Exchange in New York, an organization that purchased and marketed award-winning, documentary films. Before long, she had earned the highest industry respect and accolades for producing documentary films that also made a strong social contribution.
Kaiser has raised millions of dollars for a host of humanitarian projects including her role as Chairperson of the Democratic Party during her many years in Hawaii. As co-founder of the national radio program, "You Can Make A Difference," the show was broadcast to over seventy independent radio stations across the U.S., creating a worldwide networking organizations that linked individuals and groups to a host of charities dealing with a variety of social concerns. Recognized by President George Bush as part of the "Points of Light" program, they were recognized by every major political force in the nation. Kaiser also produced the national, award-winning documentary, "Hawaii Files: Journey From Homelessness," which received commendations by the State of Hawaii Legislature, Governor John Waihee, Mayor Frank Fasi, the City Council of Honolulu and the Telly Awards.
Without a doubt, Kaiser's high-profile friends and cohorts span the globe, reaching into some of the most powerful and influential circles on the planet. She now resides in New York keeping close to entertainment industry sources, top entrepreneurs, and as a valued member of the highest social circles on the East Coast and in Europe.
